Waveguide Type

  • These are simple and conveniently variable type set-level attenuators to provide at least 20db (15 db in V&W Bands) of continuously variable attenuation.
  • These consists of a movable lossy vane inside the section of a waveguide by means of a micrometer. The configuration of lossy-vane is so designed to obtain the low VSWR characteristics over the entire frequency band.
  • These are meant for adjusting power level and isolating a source from the load etc.

  • Model 3045 E-H Tee consists of a section of waveguide with both cseries and shunt waveguide arms, mounted at the exact mid point of main arm, Both ends of the section of waveguide and both arms are flanged on their ends.
  • These Tees are employed in balanced mixers, automatic frequency control circuits and impedance measurement circuit etc. This becomes a four terminal device where one terminal is Isolated from the input terminal.

  • Model MW-2025 Gunn Power Supply comprises of regulated D.C. power supply and a square wave generator, designed to operate Gunn-Oscillator etc. and Pin-Modulator model 451 simultaneously.
  • The D.C. Voltage is variable from 0 to 12.0 volts. The front-panel digital meter monitors the Gunn voltage and the current drawn by the Gunn-diode.
  • The square waves of generators is variable from 0 to 1 0 Volts in amplitude and from 850 to 1150 Hz in frequency.
  • The power supply has been so designed to protect Gunn diode from reverse voltage application, over transient and low frequency oscillations by the negative resistance of the Gunn-diode.

  • Model MW- 2022 Gunn Power Supply has been designed to operate high frequency Gunn Oscillators and where PIN Modulators are not available, In this supply variable frequency square Wave modulation is provided on the bias supply itself.
  • Front panel digital meter reads the Gunn Bias Voltage and the current drawn by the Gunn-Diode through a switch.

  • These Gunn oscillator are solid state microwave energy generators. These consists of waveguide cavity flanged on one end and micrometer driven plunger fitted on the other end. A gunn-diode is mounted inside the waveguide with BNC (F) connector for D.C. Bias.
  • Each Gunn Oscillator is supplied with calibration certificate giving frequency Vs. micrometer reading at 200MHz intervals.

  • Model MW-2016  is an Automatic Self Balancing Power Meter 0-18 GHz. It measures RF Power with the help of temperature compensated Thermistor Mount from 10;uW to 10mW full scale with 1 % accuracy from 10 MHz to 40 GHz (depend upon type of Thermistor Mount).
  • With calibration factor control switch, MW-2016 normalizes the Power Meter reading to compensate the efficiency of used Thermistor Mount.

Direct Reading Type

  • Direct reading frequency meter are absorption type frequency meter to give direct frequency on the dial provided. These are recommended for use whenever quick determination of frequency and easy readings are desired in laboratory and production testing.
  • These consists of a section of waveguide connected to a tunable resonant cavity of high Q. The cavity absorbs some power at resonant frequency. These are designed to have 5 MHz resolution & off resonance VSWR of 1.01.

  • Microwave radiations are mono-chromatic, Plane Polarised and Coherent and they behave like waves.
